📦 1. General Packing Best Practices
Standard ecommerce parcels should be packed to withstand transit handovers. Good packing avoids damage and prevents weight discrepancy flags.
- Use double-walled corrugated cardboard boxes for heavier items or fragile goods.
- Fill void spaces completely using bubble wrap, packing peanuts, or crumpled kraft paper to prevent internal movement.
- Seal all seams and edges of the box using heavy-duty shipping tape (H-taping method).
- Affix AWB Shipping Labels flat on the top of the box. Do not fold the barcode over edges or seams.
🍎 2. Special Guidelines for Food & Liquids
Intra-city hyperlocal deliveries often contain food, grocery, or liquid medicine items.
- Liquids must be placed in leak-proof containers and sealed in plastic zip bags.
- Perishables should be packed in insulated boxes with cold packs if shipping during warm weather.
- Mark the outer package clearly with "Fragile" or "Keep Upright" stickers.

IMPORTANT Certain packages are legally prohibited inside automated courier networks.
- Combustible liquids, pressurized aerosol cans, and fireworks.
- Illegal contraband, prescription narcotics without verification, and cash/negotiable instruments.
- Hazardous waste, explosives, and uninsulated dry ice.
